If y=-2 then the y-intercept is at (0,-2).
If y=2(x+1) then the y-intercept is still at the point x=0 but it's got 2 numbers for the coordinate, it's [0, f(0)], so we need to solve for f(0)
if f(x)=y=2(x+1) then
f(0)=2(0+1) = y when x=0
2(0+1)=2(0)+2(1)=
0+2=
2
f(0)=2
the y intercept is at (0, 2)
