I am a second semester freshmen at the University of Arizona (but I am a sophomore by credit standing). I am studying biomedical engineering in their honors college on an academic scholarship. I am a strong student and enjoy tutoring and working with people. I have played sports my whole life and love the outdoors. I look forward to working on math with your student in a way that will not just help them complete an assignment, but in a way that they will truly understand each concept. Experience
I have tutored students from ages 5 to 19 for the past five years in all subjects and math is my strongest subject. I know how to break down the more difficult levels of math for students, and at the same time am able to tutor younger kids and help them grasp foundational math concepts. I am very qualified to tutor in all levels of math. I have earned an A in all of my math classes up to Calculus 2 in college (Math 129) and am currently enrolled in Vector Calculus (Math 223). I earned a 740 in the math section of the SAT and a 32 in the math section of the ACT, both of which are far above average scores.
