Hi!! Math is of course the most difficult subject for most kids. However, DESPITE the subject, almost EVERY time, I seem to be able to make an almost INSTANT "Connection" with KIDS! I EXPLAIN - SLOWLY, using EVERYDAY words and expressions that kids ALREADY know and USE EVERYDAY. I use COMMON objects in THEIR home, usually RIGHT IN FRONT of where we are SITTING - to EXPLAIN IDEAS. I use my HANDS to form SHAPES to create VISUAL examples of what I am explaining. On occasion, I joke around with the kids - THAT makes them LIKE me. If they LIKE me, then they PAY ATTENTION and LISTEN. That means they LEARN. Make Sense? (Good - I'm Glad/Hope that You Approve!). Sometimes it even works after only ONE session! They "GET IT". It WORKS. It IS nice for ME to SEE their faces "LIGHT UP" with UNDERSTANDING and COMPREHENSION - I suppose because no one ever EXPLAINED it to them that way before.
