Experience
My goal is to make difficult concepts simple for any type of student. I would love to have the opportunity to work with you. I have been involved in education since 2005 after graduating from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Education. I received my 4 - 8 mathematics teacher certification. Since then I have received my master’s in K-12 administration from Bethel University in Mackenzie, TN. I am currently pursing my doctorate in higher education at Bethel University in Minneapolis, MN. I love being able to educate the future generations of this world in many different learning situations. I taught in the public and private school collectively for seven years in the states of Texas and Tennessee. I was a middle/high school math teacher teaching in the specific subjects of pre-algebra, algebra 1, and geometry. While working in the public-school system I gained interest to work with kids on more of a one on one basis and started my own private tutoring company. I continue to private tutor kids in all areas of math including trigonometry and calculus. In 2010, I was introduced to a new career as an onset teacher. I began working in the entertainment industry as the private tutor for kids who were performing in Broadway, television, and/or films. From 2010 to 2015, I juggled going from being an onset teacher to working back in the public-school classroom. I fell in love with onset teaching and private tutoring that I decided in 2015 to make this my full-time career. I left the public-school system, but I also joined the online teaching world along with pursing the other two. I have worked at a private online school since 2015. In 2016, I received my California certified studio teacher license and began teaching on TV and films sets. I gained my certifications in K - 8 multiple subjects and K - 12 single subject with an emphasis in mathematics. As a studio teacher I am responsible not only for the education of the kids on set, but also their welfare. I continue to work all around the world as a studio teacher. I also continue to private tutor students in all areas of math through online meetings.
