I am originally from Tupelo, MS but have lived in the mid south area since 2004. I originally came here to pursue a masters in crime research, and worked in this field until my oldest child was born. However, after having to stay home with her due to some unexpected medical issues she experienced, I decided to explore a different career path and a few things led me to high school mathematics. After teaching in the classroom for 5 years, I stepped out to help my youngest child. I enjoy teaching and would still like to be able to use my skills and feel that one on one tutoring is where I can best help students right now and still be in the best place for my family.
Experience
I have taught for 5 and half years as Secondary Mathematics teacher in 6 subjects (4 of them regular and honors). I have also had over 20 years of tutoring experience.
