Have you ever felt intimated or embarrassed by math, or just need extra support? Through private lessons, I can help you gain confidence and capability in the field of mathematics. I am currently an Algebra teacher, as well as, a private tutor. I have a passion and a patience to helping students of all ages succeed in the discipline. Experience
I am currently an Algebra tutor in a top private school in the Woodlands, Texas. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Basic Algebra, and Advanced Algebra in my years of teaching. I am also a MathCounts coach for Middle School. In addition to teaching, I offer private tutoring to students of different math levels. I hold an EC - 12 grade certification in math to teach, as well as, both an undergraduate and graduate degree in math education. In both degrees, I graduated with a 4.0. I can expertly help you in your class! Through private tutoring in particular, I will individualize the lessons and meet the needs of the student. My goal is to give students confidence and capability in the field. The students that I have tutored have felt more at ease when it comes to math. They understand the why's and how's of their course, and walk away feeling good about themselves and the content. This in turn, consistently shows a great reflection in grades.
