This can be done in one step or two. The original equation is multiply x by 29 then divide by 45. Undo each step by multiplying by 45 and dividing by 29 on both sides of the equal sign. That gives you x (or really, 1x, but we don't usually write that 1) on one side and 58*45/29 = 90 on the other, or x = 90.
The one step way is to multiply both sides by the reciprocal of 29/45 which is 45/29. Once again, you get x = 90.
You can check this with (29/45)*90, and that does in fact, equal 58.
