Let x represent Justin's amount of $
Remember, all 3 people together have $63.
Eva = x - 7.50 because she has $7.50 less than Justin.
3rd person = x + 12 because he has $12 more than Justin.
x + (x - 7.50) + (x + 12) = 63
x + x - 7.50 + x + 12 = 63
3x + 4.50 = 63
3x = 58.50
x = 19.50
So, Justin must have $19.50
Eva = x - 7.50 = 19.50 - 7.50 = $12
3rd person = x + 12 = 19.50 + 12 = $31.50
Check work: 19.5 + 12 + 31.5 = 63
