# write two hundredths as a decimal

## Answers

Two hundredths is the fraction 2/100. The places to the right of the decimal point represent tenths, then hundredths, then thousandths,… and so on as you move farther right.
So for tenths: 0.1 = 1/10 , 0.2 = 2/10
And for hundredths: 0.01 =1/100
(And for thousandths, if you need it later, 1/1000 = 0.001)
Now that you know how to write 1/100, can you write 2/100 as decimal?
